The DCD7015v is a high performance, high definition, DVB-C VMX CAS and DRM supported hybrid STB with EKT’s own solidTV software solution, supporting a UI and back end from Nordija. It comes in a very compact housing optimising the logistics and minimising the impact in the livingroom. Powered by a Dual ARM A9 5000 DMIPS 3D processor, with 512MB DDR3, 512MB NAND Flash and 4MB NOR for secure boot up, the unit provides an analogue AV connector, RJ-45, S/PDIF, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and WiFi. Sophisticated software is provided by solidTV low level middleware, in cunjunction with a UI from Nordija, which provides access to a number of features such as linear TV, VOD, Internet TV, multimedia playback and Catch up TV. EKT uses a Dutch design house for its industrial designs and the DCD7015 is displayed in the beautifully styled “Cove” housing .
